Electing first committee
 
The first action was contacting around 6000 family members throughout Lebanon, inviting them to join us. We then began organizing lists of names and addresses writing down the Union’s founding regulations and its internal regulations.

The first general committee meeting was held on Sunday January 10th 1971, where it was agreed to hold another meeting and elect an administrative committee.

The second general assembly was held on Sunday March 7th 1971, to elect the first committee which was formed as follows:
